Whirlwind dumps me in Kazakhstan.
The last 7 days have been mental. Out of the blue, by word of mouth I found out about a teaching opportunity which made something light up inside me. So, I weighed the idea, and after a week made a short email enquiry which snowballed into submitting a CV, being invited for interview and 6 days after the inquizitive email I have a new job.
It's teaching. It's in Kazakhstan. And I leave in three weeks.
I have a chance to revive my Russian language skills, get some valuable teaching experience, earn enough to save something for the future and I will be positioned on the doorstep of adventure into Mongolia, China, Russia or the Kazakh plains.
You know those actor chaps who went round the world... who traversed Kazakhstan and Mongolia on their motorbikes..? I wonder what I will be doing next summer?
Oh, and enough Borat jokes already.
Very ni-ice....
